BlueTaelon
I ran across this site http://warfarebyducttape.com last xmas but it was to late to do anything. I was thinking of making the knight weapons for my friends 4 boys this year who would have a blast with them. Has anyone made these? Wondering about the total cost involved. MooCow
I haven't. My dd and her friends make duct tape wallets. It looks fun though! I think I will suggest to my dd that she make one for her little bro's Christmas gift.
Ravin
No need to buy a book. This website has instructions for a variety: http://www.thealmightyguru.com/Boffer/Boffer-Generic.html This type of weapon is used for youth combat in the SCA, and by a variety of LARP groups such as Ampgard. momto2Cs
We've made them, and it was a lot of fun! We did it as part of a 4H project and paid in $25 per kid, so I am not sure of the actual cost. They made flails, battle axes, shields, and swords. It was a TON of fun and they still play with them two years later!
PrincessMommy
my son does a lot of fun things with duct tape. He'll love these sites! Thanks!
Tenaj
Thanks for sharing this site . . . I just forwarded it to my ds15 who has a box of duct tape under his bed :) My FIL walked into our house the other day and asked very seriously, "Why do you have four rolls of duct tape sitting on your table?" We just laughed!
