mirth
Trader Joe's sells Lacey's Chocolate cookies in a clear plastic tub. I seem to favor the dark chocolate almond variety. I need to know what genre of cookie this is. It is flat, almost like a sandwich of two thin lacy wisps of what resembles the outer crunchy part of creme brûlée with solidified dark choc in between. I want to look up recipes for this kind of cookie but don't have a good keyword for this type of cookie (from heaven!) Also, it can be crudely compared to the Brussels type cookie made by Pepperidge Farm. What do you call this kind of cookie?
Mabelen
I don't know what kind of cookie it is, except they are indeed heavenly! I have found them at Costco too on occasion, in a bigger box, of course.
Janie Grace
Oh my goodness YES. These cookies are amazing. Toffee cookies, maybe?
Onceuponatime
Um, I think they are called "lace cookies." :-D You can find loads of recipes for them. I've made them before, but never put dark chocolate between them. That sounds yummy.
hana
Yes, they are very yummy. Similar flavor, different genre is the chocolate-covered caramel corn.

sweetbasil
They're called Florentines. :D My favorite cookies ever since I was old enough to point at the bakery case. :D
