Raising Little Shoots
I am looking for a writing program for my 9 yo daughter. The only writing she has done so far is copy work & dictation. She has been very slow to learn how to read & does not yet read at grade level. I am wondering where would be best to start her with writing strands? Is it best to 'begin at the beginning' with L2? or should we go to L3? All ideas welcome! Thank you for reading!
Juliegmom
:bigear: I'm sorry you didn't get any feedback. Bumping this for you as I am also curious about WS for my daughter for next year.
MrsMommy
I just started using Writing Strands 3 with my oldest two this year. We're only six weeks into the school year, so we haven't gotten too far, but I haven't seen any problems with not having used Writing Strands 2 first. They actually both really like the program for the most part, which makes me even happier with it!
Ellie
Level 3. Level 2 is completely optional. :)
Raising Little Shoots
I decided to go with L2. we have only done the first lesson & it is very basic, but (so far) I am pleased with my decision.
