Nestof3
Hi all,I am looking at possibly getting Maestro Classics for our kids. Anyone use this before? What do you think? Thanks. They are nice but very short. I purchased them very cheap with a coupon code. You can Google to see if it's still valid. I very much prefer the Ann Rachlin ones -- they are fantastic. I even like them better than the Classical Kids ones. Here is one http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B001AQMP42/ref=wms_ohs_product Here is her website: http://www.funwithmusic.com/
twoxcell
We own a couple of these that I recieved for a review. My kids enjoy them, but I'm not sure that I would have paid full price for them. I would consider buying more if they ran a sale. They had a sale awhile back and I almost bought some.;)
Tonia
You might check your library as well. I found a few sets at the library.
Stef03
We've used Maestro Classics' Peter & the Wolf and we also made a lapbook using http://www.currclick.com/product/64549/Peter-and-the-Wolf-Maestro-Classics-Lapbook . My kids really enjoyed it, my library didn't have the CD collection however I made the suggestion and it was accepted :D I'm planning on using their CDs again this year and hopefully doing another lapbook or two if I can get them on sale :P

jentancalann
We have Peter and the Wolf, Mike Mulligan and the Steam Shovel, and Juanita the Spanish Lobster. I try to buy a new one each year at the hs fair. We like them.
5knights3maidens
I won the set of 9 cd's. :) My kids really enjoy them including my almost 15 yr. old ds. Each cd has the story with music, they talk about the composer, they talk about the music. There is also a little booklet that comes with it that has a small write up about the composer and 2 or more pages of a game like dot to dot, word search, etc. Our favorite so far is "Juanita the Spanish Lobster." :001_smile: Hope this helps. :)
