DawnM
This is not a spam, I love Roku and I love Hulu+ and just thought this was a good deal.
SonshineLearner
Did you see how much a month after?? I showed this to my mom and she was wondering that and also how it's different than Netflix... and of course we didn't think you were spam :)
DawnM
Hulu+ is $8/month normally, but you aren't tied to a contract, so you could cancel after 6 months if you wish. Roku is no cost after buying the box.
PinkInTheBlue
What's the difference between this and Netflix? Thanks!
DawnM
Hulu+ plays TV shows, recently aired. Netflix is older shows and movies. We do not have cable, a dvr, or satellite and Hulu+ has been great for us.
DawnM
As far as I can tell, it is open to current Hulu+ members as well. It is just a 6 month gift card. Dawn
Quiver0f10
What is the roku box for? Could you just get Hulu on the TV?
DawnM
If you have a device to get Hulu on your TV screen, then yes, I suppose you can. Do you have an internet based TV that allows you to get Hulu on it? Hulu+ has more content than regular Hulu. What is the roku box for? Could you just get Hulu on the TV? chicagoshannon
Thanks! We were thinking of getting a box. Might have to get this deal.
Tree House Academy
We have both Netflix and Hulu Plus that we live stream through our Blue Ray player. They are great and the cost is so minimal. I pay $7.99 a month for Hulu Plus and $8.67 a month for Netflix.

ktgrok
Another person that LOVES their roku box. We don't have cable anymore, as we just don't need it. We have Netflix, Hulu plus, Amazon prime, and a bunch of free channels as well, like TED talks, weather, news, etc.
PinkInTheBlue
Can Hulu work through a Wii or Apple TV?
DawnM
No, neither device supports it. They both will stream Netflix, but we can barely watch it through the Wii as it only supports 480p quality and it looks horrible on our screen. Dawn ETA: I stand corrected. Apparently HuluPlus has been added to the Wii http://www.hulu.com/plus/devices Can Hulu work through a Wii or Apple TV?
tammyw
Can you fast forward through commercials? Or must you watch them?
DawnM
No, you have to watch them. There are maybe 3 per episode of TV. It is nothing like live TV watching. Can you fast forward through commercials? Or must you watch them?
