Little Nyssa Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 We have to replace WW carpet with flooring, in the house we are moving into. I would love to have hardwood instead of laminate if possible... At Lowe's today the bamboo floor is very inexpensive, and looks pretty-- does any one have this kind of flooring? Do you like it? Does it wear well and is it easy to clean? Thank you! The only scratch we put on it was by pushing a very heavy box across the floor that had one of those big industrial staples in the bottom. Hilltop Posted May 1, 2012 Share Posted May 1, 2012 My friend just had bamboo flooring installed and I really like the look of it. She did a lot of research before choosing bamboo. Mom25girls Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 We've had bamboo floors for ten years and still LOVE them! We're a very busy family of 7 (aka, young kids HARD on everything) with two Golden Retrievers. The floor does show wear but it's...character. JumpyTheFrog Posted May 2, 2012 Share Posted May 2, 2012 Ours are 8 months old. They dent easily, especially with young kids that constantly drop stuff. Maybe we have a cheap kind.
