I just needed someplace to spew the pent up in-law venom, and thought I'd come back after dinner to find my regurgitation buried, as it should be. But instead, I found that so many of you had replied to my in-law rant with such kind sentiments, I'm just so touched, as is dh. Now we're both blinking back tears, and we're overwhelmed at your kindness and warmth. You really made his Father's Day, and I don't know how to thank you. Really.....you ladies (and gentlemen!) are top notch. Please, I know it's just a stupid smilie, but please consider yourself hugged from both of us. :grouphug: I am so honored to be part of this community. I understand completely. I have someone in my life that I have to make sure to keep at a certain distance or else I end up being 1/2 an inch tall all over again. Tell him how wonderful a father he is. And the ones that matter the most know this about him, you and his daughter.
