BatmansWife
Well....ok, a public school kid could say these things too. But...humor me. From today: "Mom. If you need me I'll be in my tent writing hieroglyphics." Do you have any to share? Edited January 20, 2012 by ~AprilMay~
BatmansWife
Oh my gosh!!! It worked. I actually posted my first picture. Whoo hoo!! :hurray:  :cheers2: This is my baby girl. She's loving History Odyssey. BTW...the glasses are her fake Claire's Club glasses she got at the Mall of America. :001_smile: Is this how everyone else posts pics? By clicking the paperclip?? Some people seem to have a large picture inside their post. Haven't figure that out yet. Edited January 20, 2012 by ~AprilMay~

scubamama
We were renting a place when we were studying Egypt....one day I saw my kids in the tiny back yard ...they had cut down the ornamental papyrus and were trying to make it into paper "Just like the ancient Egyptians mom!" I couldn't bring myself to yell at them. :tongue_smilie:
Blueridge
Precious girl! Yesterday at my house, I asked dd12 how her report on the Nutcracker Suite was going. She said, "I know it was supposed to be one page, but I'm only half way done and it's 5 pages. Do you want me to start cutting out some of the big words?" No, honey, you're doing just fine. :D
iquilt
My son brought me a completed Lego airport that he spent hours working on, by himself, not getting into trouble. Love it!
