If you have a few minutes to do something completely unproductive and fruitless ;) read this entry in Deborah Markus' (the editor of Secular Homeschooling Magazine) blog: http://www.madeditor.com/2008/06/youre-never-too-obscure-to-be-hated-by.html The WORST I've ever gotten was an "I'm going to try to talk you out of homeschooling" speech which failed miserably but was actually gentle and well-intentioned.
