lewelma
This is what my son read for middle school science (which we did a few years early). We ended with Tarbuck Earth Science because it was the most difficult read. But he loves it! lewelma
Thanks so much for this. I bought The Way Life Works on your recommendation and I absolutely adore it! My son also loved it. I found a piece of art of his years ago and realized that he was drawing amino acids assembling into a protein. :001_smile: I am so glad it worked out for you. I love my charter school's money cause then I can spend my money on things I really want and value. 1776 Illustrated Edition. It not only has the text with great illustrations, but also has envelopes with facsimile maps, letters, and other documents. This is a key part of our American Rev study this year. The documents mean that primary source material is right there, transcribed (for the hard to read handwriting), and put into context with the events. I lucked into a $10 copy at a library sale. If you buy used, look for a note that the documents are included.
