Fleur de Lis
Preferably one that doesn't make the water inside taste like plastic? I need suggestions :)
Miss Cornelia Snook
I like the Playtex brand that has a separate valve. You have to pull out the valve every time to wash it, but the valves will hold a vacuum for a long time, and when they wear out, you simply buy new valves. I used to use Nuby cups, but once the silicone spout wore out, the entire cup was useless.

Anyone else have other favorites so that I could have a few to compare?
pink&bluemommy
I like the nalgene sippies.
Virg
Another vote for Playtex. I used them with mine and use them with my daycare kids now :)
8circles
We prefer the Nuby brand but we are not heavy sippy cup users.
AndyJoy
We like Playtex w/the valve, but I just skipped the sippy and went straight to the straw cup. I've taken sips out of it before and it tasted fine.
SJ.
We never used sippy cups and rarely used straw cups. Both boys went from breast to small cup. If you are worried about plastic, are there any stainless steel options? Good luck finding an option that works for you!
ChristusG
I despise sippy cups LOL. I have yet to find one that either (A) doesn't leak, (B) doesn't easily collect gunk, or © doesn't break when thrown down....yes, even plastic ones. We had a Nuby that broke right open when thrown from a shopping cart and onto Wal-Mart's floor. The best one I've found so far is this one: http://www.amazon.com/NALGENE-Tritan-Grip-N-Gulp-BPA-Free-Bottle/dp/B001NCDE2K/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1318997994&sr=8-
