ChrisB
I really like it so far. A friend suggested it so I spent last week catching up on the first few episodes on Hulu. We'll see how it progresses, but I'm pleasantly surprised how much I like it.
Belacqua
I like it, too. I'm not quite caught up (I still have last week's episode on my DVR), but I've found it soapy and entertaining without being moronic. It is also making me want to re-read Count of Monte Cristo, as I'm not remembering it well enough to catch all the allusions.
Twilight Woods
I love it! It's refreshing new series and I'm so over any sort of reality TV or CSI type shows. :)
stephanie78
I am watching it. I like it so far, but am waiting to see where they take it.
Osaubi
I waited to watch it until last week because I thought I wouldn't like it. I love it. It is one of the first shows I watch when I can sit down to watch tv. I think the characters are complex.
Denisemomof4
dh and I *love* this show. Well, I've only watched the first episode so far but I was quite impressed. It seems very well written, and I even loved the music! I hope it doesn't turn out to be a disappointment. Dh watched the second one and he said it was also very good. ChrisB
It seems like each episode she is ruining (seeking revenge) one person who has caused her pain. I wonder how long that can last before the whole cast is gone. :tongue_smilie: I really didn't think I'd like the show and just watched the pilot because my friend was (nicely) pressuring me. I was hooked after the pilot and that rarely happens with me. Jury is still out, but, so far, so good.
ChrisB
It is also making me want to re-read Count of Monte Cristo, as I'm not remembering it well enough to catch all the allusions. I didn't realize that is was tied to the Count of Monte Cristo...
Truscifi
I like it too, so far. I hope it stays as good as it is now.
NanceXToo
I haven't seen it. But I've been enjoying Person of Interest and Unforgettable! Going to record Grimm and Once Upon A Time, too, which start in a week or so, I think.
Hannah C.
I'm watching it. I'm finding it quite intriguing. How is it connected with The Count of Monte Cristo?
Joker
Dh and I are hooked. We watched the first four episodes on Hulu last night. I do wonder how they will keep it going.
Belacqua
I'm watching it. I'm finding it quite intriguing. How is it connected with The Count of Monte Cristo? As I understand it, Revenge is supposed to be a loose interpretation of the story. Emily/Amanda is in a similar position to Dantes, and her actions often reflect something that happened in the book. For example, [in white to avoid spoiling] Dantes manipulated the bond market to take down Danglars, and Emily used a similar tactic on Uncle Hedge Fund.
