blondeviolin
We are LOVING the Winnie the Pooh dramatization with Judi Dench and Steven Fry! Does anyone else have other recommendations? My library has SOTW, but I'm wanting to save that for first grade.
Trivium Pursuit
The Cat in the Hat and Other Dr. Seuss Favorites James and the Giant Peach Trumpet of the Swan
charlestonmom03
Our favorite two are Trumpet of the Swan (read by the author) and Come On Seabiscuit! (Jim Weiss). But really my boys love all the classics on audiobook, and they enjoy them well before they are ready to read them.
mryann
Mrs. PiggleWiggle, Paddington Bear, anything by Rauld Dahl, especially Matilda. That should get you started!
redsquirrel
"Milly, Milly, Mandy", "My father's Dragon", "Animal Tales" by Jim Weiss. Jim Weiss has several that are great for the littles. They are all great. And yeah, don't do SOTW until you are actually using it. It makes car trips great for reviewing materials you have done. momacacia
Christian Light Publications has some very sweet stories on tape for children. We like Becky, Benji and Millie here. Stories are set in Amish or Mennonite families.

Jen in PA
Stephen Fry did two Paddington audiobooks that were big hits here! The various Jim Weiss fairytale options are also really nice. Catwings read by the author (Ursula LeGuin) is another good one for that age.
