mommyagain
toddlers out of sight = TROUBLE!!! In this case it meant little boys washing each other's hair and the walls with TOOTHPASTE!!! Followed of course by the oh so innocent "what did I do wrong?" face!:001_huh: "Mommy, me dooty ("dirty" for those of you who don't speak 2yo)!" The same 2yo that "mowed" a patch down through the top of his head with "safety" scissors yesterday!!!

Parrothead
Oh, yes. But it could have been worse. It could have been the old thick sticky Desitin ointment. As me how I know. :glare::D
chepyl
I get worried when I can't see or hear dd....for us it was toothpaste as glue on blocks yesterday and glue in puddles around the house a few days ago :glare: Gotta love toddlers and preschoolers! mommyagain
 silly boys!! Oh well toothpaste washes and hair grows back. This is true. It's all a matter of perspective. Since I am an older mommy and this is round 2 of raising kids, it doesn't upset me like it might have in my younger days. However, I find myself MUCH more tired!:tongue_smilie:
linguistmama
DD2 put a ton of applesauce in her hair once. I figured I could just rinse it off, but no, the tiny bits of pulp took forever to wash out. :glare:
MamaT
My oldest two once dumped my flour and sugar canisters out on the kitchen floor, filled the canisters with water and dumped it on top. Do you know how many times I had to mop!!!
Cheryl in NM
LOL, just be glad it was toothpaste! It could have been so much worse!
seraphina
That reminds me of when my second oldest got into baby powder. He took it off his brothers changing table. Man that was messy. I still remember when my brother was 5 and tried to wash his hair with baby oil. :D

The same 2yo that "mowed" a patch down through the top of his head with "safety" scissors yesterday!!! toothpaste is much easier to get out than peanut butter, or worse - zinc oxide ointment. thunk. (my non-chem major daughter thought back to her chem background and came up with the idea of peanut butter to break down the ZO. it worked. so for all those kids who say "but I'll never use it . . " oh, yes, you will.)

annlaura
 Oh dear! Never a dull moment, is there? I heard an amazing amount of banging and crashing the other day when I was stuck at the stove. When I called out to ask my 2yo what he was doing, he said, "Sitting on chair!"
