LittleIzumi Posted September 29, 2011 Share Posted September 29, 2011 Dd's Medicaid ends Sept 30, and we didn't find out until earlier this month. So her VT was going to be cut a month short (2 instead of 3 months). The VT place added an extra VT session for her weekly as soon as they found out, but today was dd's last day and she has not had her full amount of VT. We met with the doc, and talked about how she has improved a lot, but she's not there yet, esp with her convergence issues (amblyopia). He really wanted her to keep going to VT for a while longer, but being in the Medicaid bracket that just wasn't possible. So he said she should come back once a week for 6 weeks--on them. No charge. :svengo: :svengo: :svengo: Then they would give us an at-home protocol to follow afterwards. :svengo: :svengo: God is good, and our VT rocks too :D.
