Waffle makers: Do you have one you love?

Recommended Posts

I've always wanted one b/c the store bought frozen ones are not very healthy. I can make my own much healthier, but could never afford to buy one. Do you have one you love? Care to share what brand/model/approx. price, etc.? Enter $100 Target.com eGiftCard...now I can afford one. :D TIA

I love it. It actually has removable inserts: one side is a flat griddle surface, and the other side is a waffle surface. It's cast iron and nothing sticks to it, which is a huge plus for waffles!

The one below kind of looks like mine. I couldn't find my G.E. one, which is almost 20 years old!

for $50 and I LOVE it. I used a couple of different cheap ones before and had a lot of problems with them.

This is a Belgian waffle maker, the flip kind. It makes perfect waffles every time. You can adjust the brownness. No batter is wasted b/c it comes with a cup for scooping & pouring. It beeps when the waffle is ready. No guessing required!

I have a Salton. I really like it because it makes a big waffle. 4 big squares at a time vs the belgian waffle maker that I had which made one small-medium waffle at a time. Nice to crank out the waffles quickly on the bigger iron and I can easily split one waffle between two kids for their first serving and have the second one ready before they ask for it.
