jenn-
Please NO spoilers. Did you watch it in 3D? Did you feel it needed it? Did you watch it in 2D and wish you were sitting in the 3D theater? We are going on Sunday and trying to decide if the 3D is worth the extra money.
Nakia
2D, no regrets.
Pretty in Pink
We have tickets to 2D for Saturday. I can reply after we see it if you don't get enough responses before then.
twoforjoy
I'm going to see it in 3D tomorrow. I get kind of motion sick, so I'll report back on how it goes.
LittleIzumi
2D, no regrets. :iagree::iagree::iagree:
SailorMom
I haven't gone, but the report I heard was that the 3D made the darker scenes harder to see, and that it really didn't add much.
heartosunshine
I haven't seen the movie yet but I found this review: http://www.thehdroom.com/news/Harry-Potter-and-the-Deathly-Hallows-Part-2-is-Better-in-2D/9215 I think we'll see it in 2D. I have a hard time with dark scenes anyway & I really don't want to miss anything!
Guest jab300
Went to the midnight showing in 2D. You'll be on the edge of your seat. Save your money and skip 3D.
Firefly
We saw it in 2D. I'll sometimes see "effects" movies in 3D, but usually prefer 2D as I find 3D can be distracting.
JFSinIL
2-D here - since I wear glasses 3-D is not an option anyway (3-D glasses just do not work for me over my own). I resent that all the local theaters have installed 3-D equipment in ALL the biggest screens at the multiplexes so us 2-D folks no longer get to enjoy the biggest screens. orangearrow
We saw it in 3-D last night - When we go see it again, we'll see it in 2-D, without a second thought. Probably won't notice much difference either (except we won't have to deal with the annoying glasses, lol). (the 3D effects are nothing like Avatar, for instance.) jenn-
Thanks for the replies! I am definitely leaning towards the 2D. I would love to continue hearing from people as they go see it.
Lady Florida.
We saw it in 2D. We'll see it again in 2D. I'm not a fan of 3D.
