Tohru
Dd and her bf are going to Denver in August. What are the must-do places, and the must-eat at places??? How fun! Denver is fantastic! Paris on the Platte is my personal favorite restaurant in Denver, specifically I love their fire-roasted red bell pepper hummus panini. :drool5: All the museums are fantastic; Nature and Science, Art, Children's, Ocean Journey. meggie
Eek! I grew up in Littleton, you'd think I would have a better idea. The only one that comes to mind is 16th street mall. I will ask a friend and get back to you.

Debbie in OR
It's a little drive but if they have time, they MUST drive up to Kittridge just outside of Denver and go to Dick's Hickory Dock (dickshickorydock.com). It is fabulous bbq plus you can sit creekside and watch the gorgeous scenery and eat baked potatoes the size of a shoebox. It was our FAVORITE place to eat in the summer because it's always 10-15 degrees cooler up there.
meggie
Ok, my friend and her partner are getting married, so they created this list for out of town wedding guests. http://shannaandlisa.wordpress.com/what-to-do-in-denver/ Lots of fun things

Lara in Colo
I always tell people to go to The Fort. It is a replica of an old time Fort and the food is highly rated (but pricey). We have entertained out of state clients there many times. http://www.thefort.com/ Lara
milovany
If you have kids with you, Casa Bonita is a unique sort of fun (but loud/busy). Without kids, I'd go somewhere less shebang-y.
