homenluvinit
My oldest son really wants to take French this next year, but I have no clue what would be the best Curriculum for it. He's going to do SOS for English, History, Science, & Bible, but I wasn't sure if that was the best option for French. Any suggestions?????? mommyto4
How old is your son? Are you looking for something that focuses on speaking the language or writing it? We use l'art de Lire with my ds8 and enjoy it greatly.

Guest
You might try posting on the high school board. This is for little kiddies. I am not sure you will get a good useable answer here.
Punks in Ontario
We like Aurolog's Tell Me More computer program. I think it costs a couple hundred dollars, but it's several levels all in one. Now, if I could only get my guys to use it more. :glare:
homenluvinit
Thanks I will check into the Aurolog's Tell Me more. I'm glad to hear that I'm not the only mom with kids who don't always want to do what I'd like them to. I will also post on the Highschool forum. I didn't realize this was focused more on the younger ones.
mommymilkies
I would go for the Discovering French (or Discovering French Nouveau depending on age & ability) series they use in schools. We've tried them ALL and this is the only one that has worked for us.

crazyforlatin
I was thinking of using Galore Park's So You Really Want to Learn French after using all the levels of Nallenart D'art Lire. If you choose Galore Park, you can order the books/cd/tests from http://www.horriblebooks.com with free shipping and 20% discount.
