rookie
Please share your favorite documentaries.... I love anything by Ken Burns and recommend those but would love to have others to choose from. They need to be okay to watch with my dc so "PG-13" safe. Thanks. :001_smile:

Hillary in KS
OK. This is off the top of my head. I *think* these are okay for you and your dc, but you'll want to check with reviews or other posters. Mad Hot Ballroom Babies 1900 House (They also have a Colonial House and a Frontier House, but those aren't NEARLY as good as 1900 House.) TheTwinsMom1
I have been watching alot of documentaries on Netflix which are PBS made. Almost all of them would be fine for kids and are great. They have just about any subject you could ever want. I saw the one suggested earlier about the child and it's excellent, I loved it. MorganClassicalPrep
1900 House (They also have a Colonial House and a Frontier House, but those aren't NEARLY as good as 1900 House.) We watched 1900 House in my 20th Century British History course last year, I would definitely recommend this. It was so good! Informative AND entertaining. Belacqua
We enjoyed Wordplay, about crossword puzzle competitions. And Spellbound, about the National Spelling Bee. And Hard Problems, about the International Math Olympiad. Gracious, that list makes me sound hypercompetitive. But I don't participate in all these contests...I just like to watch documentaries about people who do. :)
