Heatherwith4
Yes, I'm thinking ahead a bit. :) I have several seed catalogs in front of me, and I'm trying to plan our garden this year. So, I'm just wondering where everyone buys their seeds. TIA!
BlsdMama
Seed Savers Exchange - Decorah Iowa. If you buy heirloom this year, you can save the seed for next year. :)
amy g.
I buy from Baker's Creek, and they are expensive, but I get almost 100% germination from their seeds. I was excited that our co op had heirloom seeds at 1/2 the price. Unfortunately they were so old that hardly any of them sprouted. Just today, I bought some discount seeds for $.39 a pack. when I got home, I discovered that each package had about 3 seeds. It is not as much of a bargain as I thought. Jules
I usually order from Pinetree Seed, but this year I am going to try some from Rare Seeds. They are heirloom, so I want to try some of them, too. I think it is good to plant a variety of things, if you have the room.

LoveBaby
We buy ours from http://rareseeds.com/ We don't live too far from them and have a good time hanging out at their "old town". The owner was a homeschooled student and created Baker's Creek when he was only 16 years old, I think.
