for just 2 or 3? I want my 2 youngest to play some good old fashioned games. Not many here their age. . . and so many games I can think of at least need 4 (I guess instead of 4 square I could do 3 square?). Any ideas. . .

Hide and seek

Plain old catch

Well, with 3 they can jump rope. With 2 they could hopscotch, tether ball (probably have to go buy one, but we love ours), catch, we used to play 2 square:). Hmmm.....that's all I've got:(

I got this book from the library and it has tons of fun indoor and outdoor games for kids to play.

When it snows, play Fox and Geese. I loved that as a kid.

These require some investment, but my kids have enjoyed bocce and croquet.
