KatieJ
another grandchild is ready for potty training and Mommy wants to know about cotton training pants. I see on Amazon there are some new brands out there. Any particular ones you like??????
Parrothead
I didn't get any particular brand. I bought a couple package from Walmart if memory serves.
Punchie
I used the Gerber brand thick cotton undies with Dappi covers on them. Gerber isn't the greatest as I believe the "absorbant" layer is foam (which essentially means it's not), but the fancier ones made by cloth diaper brands are more than I want to pay for such a short period of use. Karen in CO
Bright Bots. I used them with my youngest - they have a good size selection and cute colors.
flobee76
We used a brand called Snap-Ez. I bought them online from the website. They were SUPER absorbent, one style even came with a waterproof outerlayer that was breathable. The company is going out of business, so their prices are slashed. They have snaps on the sides for easy cleanup, but when snapped, they can be pulled up and down like regular undies.
cjzimmer1
Honestly, we find letting them go naked to be the most effective method. It just has the nice side benefit of being really affordable. We have training pants but I never use them, they just encourage the kid to use them like a diaper in my opinion.
Tidbits of Learning
We used the gerber ones as well. We did cloth diaper though so ds knew he was wet and had begun to take off the cloth diapers to potty before we bought the trainers. I wanted some imse vimse ones but never did buy them. Guest mrsjamiesouth
My favorite are Antsy Pants, but I really like WAHM training pants too. Look at Etsy and Hyena cart for trainers.
SonshineLearner
Another vote for Antsy Pants... they actually work!! :)
Tamberly
We liked Antsy Pants if they still had messes and then Blueberry trainers when they got #2 in the toilet on a consistent basis. Going naked this time of year is tough! To me, it wasn't worth ruining a couch or the carpet...
RanchGirl
I liked Happy Heiney's (sp?) pocket trainers for nighttime.
