Help!!!! Handwashing worksheets

I don't have a worksheet, but I do have a very memorable activity.

Mix some glitter and lotion to be germs, put it on a table and a doornob and other places kids touch - have them brainstorm where germs would be. When they touch it, the will get the glitter germs on their hands. Next everyone needs to wash hands - sing a little song that lasts 30 seconds and see if the germs are gone.

I did this with a group of K-3rd graders and they had fun. They all remembered the lesson more than a year later.

We've used these:

http://classroom.kidshealth.org/Search02.jsp

http://www.glogerm.com/

The last one has videos & worksheets for free, but if you can buy their glowing stuff it's really cool. We did an experiment to show how germs are transferred, even by the smallest contact like picking up the same toy. The smallest kit has enough gel for a bunch of uses, so you could even split it with another family or homeschool group or whatever.

I saw this cute little rhyme on a sign today:

Wash your hands with soap,

Wash them every day!

Keeping clean by using soap

Will help keep germs away

Oh, and I saw it in a bathroom at the college!:lol:

So, you can just never tell how long it might take some people to not need reminding anymore. :D

There's probably a lot more. I got these from googling "wash your hands coloring page". The first one is kinda neat....have your kids sign up for National Handwashing Week, December 5 - 11, 2010. They can keep track of how many times they wash their hands that week on a handwashing form, send it in, and be eligible for a prize.

I used cinnamon in oil. The boys thought it was cool to get their hands dirty (and then clean). The girls loved the smell :-)
