linders Posted August 13, 2010 Share Posted August 13, 2010 We held DS10's bday party at a mini golf course this morning. I didn't drop the cake walking in. The kids showed up. It didn't rain (though it is doing so now). They all had a good time and behaved well (if loudly), even though every mom did a drop-and-leave. No one lost a tooth to an errant golf club. DS remembered to be a gracious host, gushing as much over a gift of Sculpy clay as over a new video game. Really, when I realized the date we had chosen, I fretted over all of the above! Ours was in 1994 and so far, our marriage has outlasted about 75% of our friends. We always consider ANY Friday the 13th a sort of mini anniversary and celebrate accordingly ;).
