ktgrok
I bought "Understanding Jewish Holidays and Customs", the workbook,on Alibris. It was said to be in Very Good condition. However, the cover has writing on it,both a name and scribbling. There are at over a dozen pages that are filled out, most in pen. Plus some other random scribbling. Would you consider that Very Good? If not what should I do?
Denise in IN
No, I would not consider that in "ver good" condition. I would suggest first contacting the seller, then go through the website (if purchased through Amazon or Half.com) if you don't get resolution from the seller. atozmom
I agree with the pp. Contact the seller first, if you do not get anywhere, then contact Alibris. I had this happen once and Alibris refunded my money.

specialmama
Very good condition? Nope, that's not it. Very good condition is not well used. If there's anything written in them, it should be fair condition or less (well loved or "still readable.")
Slartibartfast
Book grading is not a matter of opinion. There are guidelines http://reviews.ebay.com/The-Fine-Art-of-Grading-Used-Books_W0QQugidZ10000000001207186 There should not be writing in a "very good" book. Anything with with writing in inside is not "Very Good." Contact the seller.
NanceXToo
That's definitely not "very good." I'd get a refund!
