question about buying used books

Recommended Posts

I bought "Understanding Jewish Holidays and Customs", the workbook,on Alibris. It was said to be in Very Good condition. However, the cover has writing on it,both a name and scribbling. There are at over a dozen pages that are filled out, most in pen. Plus some other random scribbling. Would you consider that Very Good? If not what should I do?

I agree with the pp. Contact the seller first, if you do not get anywhere, then contact Alibris. I had this happen once and Alibris refunded my money.

:iagree: Very Good means that if you didn't want the item it is in condition to resale it. Anything with with writing in inside is not "Very Good." Contact the seller.
