swimmermom3
Dawn, Thank you for the link. We were there two years ago. Foolishly, I had no idea what treasures were held in our National Gallery of Art. My daughter and I spent a long afternoon there that we are unlikely to forget anytime soon. JadeOrchidSong
Sorry, but I don't get it. How do you get them? Thanks, J
Nestof3
Find one you are interested in borrowing and add it to your cart. You pay the return shipping. I figured it would be a good way to get some nice prints for studying different time periods. We are studying Baroque this upcoming year. Sorry, but I don't get it. How do you get them? Thanks,J
Mrs Mungo
Several of the lessons have links included because they are available online. For example: http://www.nga.gov/education/classroom/origin_myths/ Thanks, Dawn! Edited June 20, 2010 by Mrs Mungo
Nestof3
Several of the lessons have links included because they are available online. For example: http://www.nga.gov/education/classroom/origin_myths/ Thanks, Dawn! Yes, I found them b/c I was searching for art lessons for the Baroque period. There are some really great art appreciation questions in some of the guides. Here are the resources I have compiled for the Baroque artists, namely Rembrandt, Vermeer, Velazquez and Vigee-Lebrun (painted portraits of Marie Antoinette). http://www.keepandshare.com/doc/1988574/baroque-art-study-resources-pdf-june-17-2010-5-29-pm-148k?da=y

NoPlaceLikeHome
The NGA is a treasure and I had the good fortune recently to visit several times with ds and plan to do so again;) They gave me a copy of their educational catalog. I found their audio tours great for ds as well:)
