What is your favorite, must have Whole Foods cookbook? nt

Recommended Posts

There was a very good thread about this in the past (search "whole foods"). I use the "American Wholefoods Cuisine" by the Goldbecks. Someone recommended the cookbook called "Simply in Season". I love it!! Right now, I'm planning to buy a copy instead of hogging the library copy all the time.

Whole Foods, but I really like Nourishing Traditions by Sally Fallon.

Whole Foods for the Whole Family by La Leche League International

It's my whole foods alternative to the Betty Crocker.

This is mine too!! We use the recipes in here for everything - like all those cream of mushroom soups and Bisquik type recipes. I LOVE their vegetarian selections too.

Oh yes, I'll second this. The very first section, where the author speaks of a person preparing her husband's lunch, is one of the most beautiful arguments for serving whole foods I've ever seen. It also contains a quote that I absolutely adore--something like,

I began living the life I had, not the life I had dreamed of or thought I had a right to.

That's not a direct quote--perhaps you can correct me.
