woolybear
I've never been to a Hobby Lobby, but I've seen it mentioned. I looked online and found one about an hour away. It seems like a silly idea to drive that far. We have a Michael's craft store nearby. However, every now and then I hear about some really cool item that someone got at a Hobby Lobby. So, is it worth the trip?:)
CroppinIt
Depending on what you're looking for.... I wouldn't drive an hour just to look around. If there was something special you were looking for and the website showed something close, I'd call and consider going. IMHO, I tended to like Michael's better for everyday browsing. Lara in Colo
They are close on Sundays. Definately not worth the trip on Sunday. Lara
Heather in OK
We have both here. I prefer Hobby Lobby to Michaels. Bigger store. Lower prices. And owned by a great family.
hsmom3tn
I like Hobby Lobby more than Michael's, but I don't think I would drive for an hour to go there. If you have a Joann's nearby, it's much better IMO. Also, I think Hobby Lobby now has an online store. Maybe you can find what you need there? Susan in TN
If you have a Joann's Etc. or Michael's nearby, go there. Our Hobby Lobby is 5 minutes closer than those other stores, and it's fine. Has some good things, but not an hour's drive good. ;)
Faith
Yes, worth the trip. They are closed on Sunday though and be sure to take a printed coupon from the website for anything that is not on sale. Usually the coupons are for 40% off. The coupon changes from week to week. Great company and great owners!
woolybear
Okay. We have Joanne's and Michael's nearby and I was all set to say forget it. Then I saw Faith's post. Hmmmm.....maybe sometime I will combine it with a field trip to that area. Thanks for all the help.
