Is there a site that tells u when u can see the next meteor show, lunar eclipse, etc?

I usually check here -

 

http://www.earthsky.org/ - and then click on the orange button that says "Tonight" in the upper right corner. You can click forward several days to see what's coming up. I've learned to recognize a lot of stars this way.

I highly recommend subscribing to this email loop from NASA.

They also have a Kids Club and free lesson plans on line, but with the email loops you get the most fascinating information and updates. You'll get all you were requesting, plus so much more! If you're in a Boy Scout or Girl Scout troop, try to arrange a sleepover at the NASA facilities. We live in Texas. It's one of my favorite educational, but so much fun memories with my older girls.
