Ginevra
Heather, I'm not much of a pray-er, but I had a chat with God today and begged for mercy on you.
AuntieM
:grouphug::grouphug: I am so sorry for your disappointment, Heather. I can only imagine how deep it runs. I hope yet that you will come back soon and tell us that it's all a go after all... Anyway, I have been thinking, as I read this thread, how this baby's life has been so deeply and widely touched by prayer even as she is only days old. This because you care for her and shared that here. What a lovely gift to bestow on a child. :grouphug::grouphug:
GWOB
:grouphug::grouphug: I prayed for you when I read your thread. I will continue to pray for strength and wisdom for you. The longing for a child can be gut-wrenching. May the Lord embrace you during this time.

Hedgehogs4
I pray that you are comforted, Heather, but also that the Grace that is demonstrated through you will be a light to those who are lost. This was a divine appointment, not a punishment. You will see His mighty hand in it all someday... "Stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord." in the meantime, though, as you are suffering, I pray that He is near to you and His love sustains you through the grief. MamaT
:grouphug: I have been off the grid with no internet since the day after Christmas and just came on to see what was happening. Heather, I will be praying for you. We got our hopes up for an adoption and it was snatched away from us at the last minute. It hurts. Turns out, if that hadn't happened I would have never gotten my 2nd daughter. Maybe the grandma will change her mind, or maybe God has another baby girl for you and this is part of the journey. Hugs and more hugs.
