robsiew
There is so much out there! Wondering if you have favorite **free** ie. not DEMO educational computer games that you like? Our kids range in age from 4-9. I can find quite a lot for the younger end, but I'd like some things for the older couple... I found a free trial of Jumpstart and they all really like that, but that will be up before long....
stripe
Maybe some of these links will help? http://www.astepatatime.co.nz/Free%20online%20games%20and%20videos.htm
plain jane
Timez Attack is free for the basic version. You can buy the upgrade that has cooler levels and more complicated maneuvers for the character to perform, but the gist of it is all free. StephanieZ
Seterra is totally free, downloadable, and very educational. Would be great for the olders. (It is a geography game) http://www.wartoft.nu/software/seterra/
EmilyK
OK, this is pushing the definition of game, but my kids and I enjoy http://www.freerice.com. My kids really love BrainPop. We have a subscription, but there are a decent number of videos that are free. (Again, not a game, but something educational my kids will do as entertainment.) There's another free geography game but the name escapes me right now. I'll post when it comes back to me.

SophiaH
I really think Worksheet Works is very well done. It's only in Beta version now, so you might have to pay to access it in the future, but for now it's free! I especially like the math games--magic square, sudoku, etc...
