kalanamak
I'm not ready to have kiddo glue himself to a little electronic board like some of his peers. I got him: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/image/368476 which is something he can do on his own honing his skill at it. Now he can honestly beat me, and we have fun at it. Any other ideas of this type to let kiddo play with a devise by himself, but not one that requires batteries?

ChristusG
Maybe one of those labyrinth mazes that you run the marble through?
Jan in SC
Rubik's race! I loved this game. I think it's called Frame It, now. You can find it at Target, or Amazon. He can try to beat his own time, or race against you. ETA...(Just so you know how much I loved this game- I sent my poor mom, with her broken foot, into the attic to find the name for you!)(Not a pull-down attic!)
