King Alfred Academy
I have found some gems in the thread about picture books for punctuation. I have a good start with a list of picture books for grammar (Heller, Pulver, Truss, Cleary...to name a few of the authors I have found) but am really lacking in the math area. That are your favorite picture books/authors for math? :001_smile:

Osaubi
When ever I am in need of math literature I look at this website. It caters to schools but they put their books in sets. FE They have a addition and subtraction bookset (you can see all titles of the books offered in the set). I ususally use that list and see what my library carries. Lots of great books at various levels. HTH
Dinsfamily
:bigear: I'd really like to know too. I do know that Robert E. Wells has the book Can You Count to a Google? I haven't read it yet, but we love all of his other books which are on different science topics.
mom31257
I loved reading the Math Start books with my dd. We lived in TN and our library had all of them. Our system here doesn't have that many. My ds gets math very easily, but when I come across them, I still get them. http://www.stuartjmurphy.com/

Crimson Wife
An excellent resource for finding "living books" to teach various subjects is the book For the Love of Literature: Teaching Core Subjects With Literature by Maureen Wittman. She is Catholic but her book is easy for non-Catholics to use since she marks the Catholic titles with a cross. Highly recommended!
