Oak Knoll Mom
Fourteen years ago, my beautiful friend Amy was out for a morning jog when a teenage boy lost control of his truck and hit her. She suffered a traumatic brain injury and her life was changed forever. She was in college majoring in PE and piano, now she can't walk or hear. However, she has not become a bitter, angry woman. Instead she has dedicated her life to helping others. She recently won a local award for her volunteer efforts and I want to share the piece the local news did about her. I'm so proud of her! Amy's Story (She's the second one in the list) Edited October 21, 2009 by Oak Knoll Mom linnk
