My friend Amy

Recommended Posts

Fourteen years ago, my beautiful friend Amy was out for a morning jog when a teenage boy lost control of his truck and hit her. She suffered a traumatic brain injury and her life was changed forever. She was in college majoring in PE and piano, now she can't walk or hear. However, she has not become a bitter, angry woman. Instead she has dedicated her life to helping others. She recently won a local award for her volunteer efforts and I want to share the piece the local news did about her. I'm so proud of her!

Amy's Story

(She's the second one in the list)
