historyfun
Have you given your child a "facts of life" book to read that you would recommend?

Laura Corin
I like this book and this. They are secular and pretty frank. Laura
kewb
It's so Amazing and It's Perfectly Normal are the two I always recommend.
Pamela H in Texas
I agree with Laura. I don't agree with the author's age ranges, but I absolutely LOVE the first book.
Trixie
I like this book and this. They are secular and pretty frank. Laura Ack! I just posted the same suggestions, but the post didn't show up. Must've hit the wrong key. :001_huh: Anyway, I think both books are terrific but would add the caveat that some people find them too graphic, particularly "It's Perfectly Normal." Earth Yarn
I don't have a lot of experience here having younger kiddos but I remember what my parents got us fondly and humorously what is happening to me - for puberty where did I come from - the birds and the bees :P they are kinda cartoony and I believe they have animated DVDs now but they are light hearted and not quite as awkward
