Historical fiction fans: anyone read Edward Rutherfurd?

Recommended Posts

I am trying to work out the the books in The Dublin Saga.

I picked up The Princes of Ireland and so far I love it.

This afternoon I looked up the author's web site, wondering what comes next. I thought it was The Rebels of Ireland, but I see his site mentions Ireland Awakening and Dublin.

Are these related to The Princes/Rebels of Ireland, or do they stand alone?

I recently read half of Sarum. I dont read much fiction and it has to be gripping (to me) for me to bother. My dad recommended the book so I wanted to like it....and I did for quite a while....but not enough to finish it. If I find it 2nd hand I woudl buy it and finish it....I had to return it to the library.

I didnt really find his style appealed to me as much as I hoped it would.

Dublin and Awakening are just other names for the Dublin Saga-I found this on a UK site that listed all the Rutherfurd books- I was disappointed as I am a huge Rutherfurd fan and I was hoping there were some books I missed!

Thank you, Lisa! That makes perfect sense.

So many of you mentioned Sarum. I think I'll have to get it when I finish the Dublin Saga.
