JudoMom
We're on day 7 of a 10 day visit from my in-laws. They leave Saturday morning. I want my house back. I want my routine back (I've been routine-less since the first part of June when we went to visit my parents for 2 weeks for a less-than-relaxing vacation, and the 1.5 weeks I had in between returning and the in-laws visiting was off kilter because of dh's work). I can do this.
gingersmom
I give you credit. I have a hard enough time doing an over night visit with my mother.
Impish
:grouphug: I can barely make it through a weekend with my MIL under my roof. :grouphug:
MamaT
:grouphug: Kudos to you. Three days is my limit - which will be next Wednesday to Saturday. I'm already hyperventilating.
ncmomo3
Yep, you can do it. I had to start putting a limit on in-law visits. They were staying 7-10 days and my hives break out from them on day 3 or 4:lol:, so that is our new limit for them. :grouphug: to you--not long now. *********
You CAN do this. :001_smile: We just had a missionary family spend 3 1/2 weeks at our house. We had never met them in person. Husband, wife, and 4 children. We have a normal size home. You know, the size that comfortably fits OUR family. Not TWO families. And we had a routine. One that we like. No, wait. Not just one that we like. One that we NEED. They left 8 days ago. I'm still recovering. It was fun, but VERY exhausting. You CAN do this. :001_smile:
LaxMom
You can do this. But I'm right there with you on the buggered up routine. Ack!
Brigitte
I have complete confidence in your ability to get through it. I, on the other hand, would not survive 10 days of an in-law visit with my relationship with the inlaws remotely in tact. You go girl! KingM
I have been where you are. The guests do eventually leave. Hang in there.
battlemaiden
Just finished a MIL 10-dayer here too. I experienced some post-traumatic stress after they left. It took me three full days to recover. :grouphug: Jo
Janna
Yes, you *can* do this! You're doing awesome - I'm very impressed. "I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength." Phil. 4:13 (emphasis mine).
