Fixing fresh fruit for today's cookout: what do I do about those cherries???

I have some wonderful (and expensive) black cherries to add to my big fresh fruit mix for cookout today. And I don't have a cherry pitter that pits single cherries.

 

What's the best option?

 

  • Put them in whole without stem.

 

 

 

  • Put them in whole WITH stem for a heads-up about the stone?

 

 

 

  • Don't put them in at all.
