Renee in NC
Prentice Hall Science Explorer Life Science is good. BJU Life Science is good. The new WTM has a good Life Science plan for the logic stage.
mcconnellboys
I just recently ordered CPO earth science and physical science. They also have out a life science book, so you might check them out. I used WTM suggestions with my fifth grader this year and was happy with that, but I really like using a large variety of living books for studies, as opposed to a text. Audrey
We have used Oak Meadow for middle grades science so far. I just got my copy of "Basic Life Science" and it looks just as good as the other levels I've seen. It is in the 6th grade curriculum. You can purchase it separately. All the lessons are laid out for you. You would have to gather materials for experiements. A microscope would be most useful for this level, too. Melissa B
We use Oak Meadow's Life Science which is 6th grade. It is hands on and research based.
