  1. I bought some grab bags from swimoutlet.com and for one of my kids it was perfect. But my other daughter, who is going to be a big woman, she can't get the largest size Dolfphin suit (size 40) pulled up over her thighs. What brands of suits run larger, or easier to pull up. Thanks!
  2. :iagree: But if you're not from a farming family some of that ignorance is just lack of experience. I wouldn't move the manure pile just yet or the crowing chickens. Let the prospective folks get a taste of reality first. It your home, your manure pile, your chickens to keep the way you want.
  3. Yup. We say all those things too in addition to, "When it's gone, it's gone until payday." Pay day isn't on the 15th or 30th any more either. It happens when it happens.
  4. Farming is good. :001_smile: Life here is good. :D A dream come true with a few modifications that were unexpected. It would be hard to go back to the way life was the past 20 years now. We've all grown so much.
  5. If I clean it, they will mess it up faster. Yup, that's how it goes.
  6. No probably not. I'm really not interested in knowing now that it's not our property and we're not liable. :001_smile: I was glad to hear that the new owners are being careful and changing out the locks today. Consensus is that the vandals planned to come back and do more. Not. my. worry. any longer!
  7. Agreed. Can you find a food pantry to supplement?
  8. They're mad because speculation is now reality. They're all young and very much entitled, right. It is done. :cheers2:
  9. :grouphug::grouphug:  I've done this too. Nice that they all laughed.
  10. Checked already. Good advice! Any color for practice but only white for testing.
  11. That's a great idea! Makes me wonder if the pink one I saw was a bleached out red uniform. :D
  12. Agreed about the creepy. Hopefully they're just excited to be moving in today.
  13. The first day. The bloating was really obviously going away right that first week. That alone was worth a couple inches! 20 lbs in approx. 3 months. Working on the next 20 and that's going more sloowly.
  14. Yup, the realtor is pulling up the list of folks who went through after the last inspection 2 weeks ago. It was all fine then. Called our old neighbors to see if they saw anything suspicious. Personally I think it was the utility folks. They're the last ones through the house Friday and it was supposedly all OK then. The neighbors are mad at us for doing a short sale so I don't think they'll want to devalue it more.
  15. The realtor looked through the house pretty carefully she didn't see any other damage than the door to the house from the garage. The garage & side door were still locked. So how did they get into the garage? She thinks it was an inside job. It was just that door & drywall damaged everything else is OK. Closing is still on for 11. Probably they'll just be asking for a new door which the insurance can cover. For 20 more minutes the house is ours and then we're done. Holding my breathe.
  16. The buyers did discover it. It's the door from the garage into the house. The door trim was pulled off and the dry wall is missing right by the locking mechanism. That's all we know right now. Still waiting for that call back.
  17. It IS insured for non occupation so it's not a question of how to pay for any repairs, fortunately. The water was turned on Friday for the closing and de-winterized. If the copper pipes were taken the wood floors will have been ruined.
  18. The closing on our home in the other state is scheduled for today at 11 a.m. Wait for it. . . . . We just got a call that the house was vandalized last night. The realtor is on her way there to see how much damage was done. Sigh. I quit. It took us a year to get a buyer, jumping through hoops, etc.
  19. The Y is great! I always exercise while they practice. I walk on the treadmill, reading my kindle & listening to music. It's my personal retreat time.
  20. For a 5 yo beginner Karate student. It doesn't have to last. I wanted to find a cute gi color for her but all I can see are blue, black, white, and red. There's one kid who wears a pink gi. Very cute.
