That's cool! I used JAG w/ my older ds when he was in 4th. It hit the spot! He loved diagramming sentences. I added a workbook for other mechanics and usage topics. And we did literature repsonse journals and paragraph writing. It all came together well. unsinkable

Put a water bottle in her room. Tell her not to disturb you. Let her read, write in her journal, whatever she wants except disturb you. For you, I'd do anything you need to do so you sleep soundly. Exercise during the day, relaxation techniques at night, ear plugs, white noise machine. Your reaction to her being awake seems so intense. Maybe she is going to be a person who needs very little sleep. unsinkable

We make up our own tunes. I found that we really only needed a few songs. We didn't need songs for 2s, 5s, 10s, 11s. ex. 3s to the tune of Jingle Bells Also, do you know the tricks for 4s (double double) and 8s (double double double)? :cool: 4x7= double 7=14, double 14=28 so 4x7=28 8x7= double 7=14, double 14=28, double 28=56 So we didn't need songs for 4 or 8 either. Being from Buffalo, I loathe the Giants, the Patriots and the Cowboys. Just sayin' BUTI have a variation on the chicken wing dip. There are no measurements. I just....wait for it... wing it. (ha!):D Chicken breasts (poached w/garlic, salt and pepper), shredded Blue cheese dressing (I buy Marie's extra blue cheese version) Frank's hot sauce I add enough blue cheese dressing to moisten the chicken, then add hot sauce until I like the color and taste. Serve w/tortilla chips and celery. People LOVE this! unsinkable

Red swedish fish and Dairy Queen ice cream. I enjoyed both foods but the thought of them now makes me queasy. My biggest trigger is low barometric pressure. My kids are like this. My oldest was so close to finishing up so many of the Webelos pins and he just didn't want to do it. I didn't care. I know what regret feels like and I don't think kids do understand regret until it actually happens. IOW, I knew he'd regret not completing the work but he couldn't imagine that regret until it happened. So I pushed...and he got all the pins and he was the only one in his den to earn them all. I often wonder where the Aspergers "line" is. I read about so many kids w/it and the traits that the parents describe as Aspergers are traits my kids have. unsinkable
