Thanks for the replies. I have lost 78# so far, but my loss has actually slowed since becoming vegan. I have added in weights to my routine in the last 3 weeks, but I am not power lifitng or anything LOL. The last 3 weeks I have been cleaning houses though. For instance, Friday I walked for 45 min, then did weights and then went and cleaned for a solid 5 hours. Could that be part of it?
I have been regular since day 1 so I am curious. Not really worried just wondering whats up.
If you were NOT always vegan/vegetarian, did it mess with your cycles when you switched? I am late and got 2 negative pregnancy test so I am wondering whats up. Thanks.
My 9th grader is using Henle and I don't dislike it, but when my younger kids finish LC II next year I am thinking of using Latin in the Christian Trivium afterwards.
Who is reading, but not a strong reader. I'd be doing it with him, but would this be a good fit for him? I want somethign simple and easy to do 2X a week.
Thanks!
I have been looking at this as an alternative to TOG, but I couldn't get a feel if it would be deep enough for highschool. Anyone use this for grades 9-12? Please share how it's working for you if you are using this.

We don't really take any medicines regularly except I take thyroid meds daily and I take a variety of supplements. I keep medicines and first aid kit in a cabinet in the kitchen.
I was 267# in Feb 07 and as of Monday I am 189.3. My goal is 140 # and I'd love to hit it before my 40th birthday in October! I am also a member of sparkpeople and it really helps me to keep in line. I started losing by eating low fat, whole grains and very little to no sugar. Since I hit the 65# mark I switched to vegan/whole foods and am hoping to continue that path.
I try to walk 45 minutes 6 days a week and do strength training 3 days a week.

My 2nd grader is using both SWR and ETC because he likes the workbooks and he needs extra help. I don't think it's needed, but the workbooks are cheap and fun.
