    Well, the "Haww" sound is very bland to me. "H" is not a strong consonant and the short "o" sound doesn't do much for me and then combine it with "l" with is just kind of bland....

    I buy Haas avocados a lot. Most of the time they do ripen on the counter top. You just have to keep an eye on them. They will keep in the fridge for several days after they ripen.

    Susan, I'm sorry about the mean kids. That is horrible. My DS has also been the victim of bullying at times. It's hard to know what to do because as you said, a lot of it happens when there are no adults around.
