Her parents picked up my little peanut! I have never seen such a good baby even when she's sick she's such a good little girl! Even though all she wanted was her auntie LOL.
Dh has an upset tummy, he went all gung ho and went back to low carb in two days...smh...he was more trouble than dgd
Will probably put up Christmas tree tonight, so I'll have to brave dh's office closet.

I get my hair colored every six weeks. Have been doing it for years. My hair comes in white now....I'm looking at you oldest son....she dyes my roots brown and puts in highlights and lowlights.

Just talked to my parents..for once they had no clue about the tornadoes...they are glad we're safe and praying for those affected.
Just trying to catch up on the news.

We don't have a basement so we go inside our downstairs bathroom which is the most protected room in our house.
Our phone started going off and DH woke up and kept watch until it was time then he and dear daughter got me and youngest and we went into our safe space and just waited. It hit our county pretty bad and one of our city's peninsula's.
We're from California and we would take an earthquake over the tornado any day. They are super scary.

Well, apparently one of our peninsulas was hit pretty hard. 🥺
One of dd's friends, her family home was hit bad and the parents were literally separated when a tree fell between them. The dad went into superhero mode with only his underwear on and found his wife. So grateful! Praying for so many others who weren't as lucky.
Two big churches in our small city are opening for those that have no where to go. What a mess 😟

Well, we have power...
No damage that I can see in our neighborhood, dh and youngest went to the grocery store and I guess only one street light is out, so Leo directing traffic.
I hope you get power on soon @ScoutTN and safe travel!
Eta: getting a sick grandbaby overnight Le sigh . Not going to the neighbors' party. Dd is still sick too. So they will be separated..

I'm sorry but I just have this to say : my mom took me to see that movie...I think she really let go of bullsh** when she divorced my dad. 👀

Well, I went through quite a bit in the office closet, but did not get out any ornaments or stuff to decorate except for the nativity scene.
I did get everything wrapped, well really I just put everything in gift bags and some t-shirt boxes. Did bags for stocking stuffers.
Youngest is at a bonfire. Dh will go get him @8pm. He also has the day off from school tomorrow. Only half a dozen schools get the day off in our school district. Tornado damage 😟
Dh made taco meat so I'm totally cheating and having nachos w/dd.
Not sure if I'm going to walk. I think I last walked on Thursday but I'm still in my PJs.
