You have to go to book extras then input the code from the front of your book. They're still there, just harder to find.
I don't know about any booklists though, sorry.

These look amazing!! This is exactly what I was picturing when I was thinking about doing notebooks with the kids this year. Anyone try them before? I don't know that we will buy them, but they certainly give some inspiration.

I get up at 6am on most mornings with my DH as he gets ready for work. I get my coffee, check emails and facebook, spend some time with him. He leaves and I go back upstairs with my coffee where I do some devotions, read a book, exercise, and get my shower. All alone. :) It really is a glorious thing and puts me in a good mood, ready to conquer the rest of the day with my kids.

I would do it. Personally, if a book was too low level or an assignment too easy, I'd think it'd be no problem to add a little to it or assign a different book. Have you looked at the three week sample yet?

This isn't physics related, it's animal science related, but we LOVED this series on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/user/BlueWorldTV Very interesting!

Can you add an SD card to either phone? That was one of my main criteria-I wanted to be able to add memory for more photos, and with SD cards, if I fill one up, I can always swap out a new one, leaving all my photos on the old card. I also like being able to just stick the card in my computer and download all the pics at once.
Yes, I know the Samsung has that option. I'm not sure with the LG. That's a good thought to add to my list as I consider and weigh both options. Thanks for that! :)

So...no other thoughts on this? I thought a phone poll would elicit more responses... :confused1:

Crazy as speaker quality sounds, that's another thing I don't like about this phone. I always struggle to hear my calls!

Which phone should I get? My contract with Sprint is ending and I'm joining my husband with Verizon. I am currently between two phones: Samsung Galaxy S5 and LG G3. I already have the LG's grandma, the LG Optimus G. I like it okay, but it has some quirks that I don't like. It will randomly turn itself off for no reason (and has since I got it nearly two years ago). It also kicks me off apps if my wifi suddenly vanishes (even when I have clear signal). I like the amount of space it has, the size of the screen, and there was something else but my mom brain just kicked in. Oh! The camera is pretty good!
I'm looking at the Samsung because it's a popular phone that I can get for $1 at Best Buy with a new plan. It's one I looked at two years ago when getting this one (but I think back then it was the 3). It has a better camera than my current phone. It's easy to use...I don't know. I hesitate because I know it can hold less spacewise and I let's be serious here. I have 2,000+ pics on my phone right now. And that's just the pics.
So help me choose and tell me why you're right! Thanks! :)

I wouldn't change it. If you change it, you will be stuck with it and you may regret that. What about visiting her but staying in a hotel?

Thanks for checking in everyone! I was going to give him until the weekend -- because on his Facebook page Saturday hours were for some reason listed (even though he used to be open every other day too, and those hours were not listed). No luck, and all of his mail was still sitting in his mailbox. So, I was on my way out the door just this morning to go to the police station when I checked my email. I had emailed all of my friends in this area so see if anyone by chance knew the owner. One person emailed me back! They were able to tell me his name and that he had been in an accident and is unable to work. My friend doesn't have his address or a phone number, but gave me another number to call of a mutual friend who might have more info... So, I'm hoping I can track him down in the next day or so. If not, I still may check in at the police station to see what next steps I should take.
Thanks for the update! Hopefully you can get more information and get your bike back. I feel badly for the guy though! Hopefully he isn't as alone as it sounds. :( I'd definitely talk to the police and see what they suggest. Keep us posted!

He did! And now the kids want to eat the bouquet cookies because "things taste better on a stick." [emoji38]

I agree with everyone else. It's part of the gift. I keep all bags I receive and reuse them for others. I assumed everyone else did the same thing...

We don't get a lot of cones honestly because they do kinda stress me out. However, I think I'm doing them an extreme disservice by not teaching them how to clean their cone. So we buy cones here and there and I train them...often by demonstrating on their cone...leaving me with more ice cream... :leaving:
But seriously, thinking mostly of YDS who is newly 6, he knows he is making a mess and will accept offered help to clean the cone. He doesn't do a great job catching drips. He can, however, deal with being a mess while he is eating. When he is done, he wants to be cleaned up quickly. He looks for napkins, a sink, whatever. DD9 doesn't like to be messy ever. It stresses her out. So she is quite good at catching drips. The oldest two? They eat it so fast you start to question whether or not you remembered to get them one.

I find it incredibly ironic and somewhat hilarious that you say you aren't out searching for stuff like this though you obviously did in order to resurrect this thread. ;) hahaha.Grow the heck up folks. This post was meant to stir up drama. Why do we care what dh posted on his own fb page??! Exactly! I'm a Christian and don't care about other people's closed mind to my belief I'm not going around searching for others belief to pick on or debate. It's pointless. Let every man work out their own salvation. That being said please know when you're playing puppet to other peoples post....

Yep, I would talk to the police too simply because it seems like something may be wrong. Piled up mail, not open for weeks, no sign or Facebook updates...it all sounds like something happened to the guy...

This is what I was thinking. He wants a tree that grows chocolate chip cookies! I'd just make the cookies..and maybe the truffles if that is something he would like.
So I asked for clarification on the issue and the above is EXACTLY what he was talking about. Lol. Remember that book from the late 70s/early 80s about Cookie Monster and his Cookie Tree? This one: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLdSdrEYsNY
He was feeling crazy at work and thinking how great some chocolate chip cookies would be which made him think of that book and how awesome that would be to have a cookie tree. Maybe I'll use his desire for cookies to get my desire for the installation of our AC. ;) After all, one doesn't bake when it's in the 80s INSIDE.

Thanks for the ideas!
I'm thinking about doing a bouquet at this point...I want to add some chocolate chip cookie dough truffles in it for variety (found an easy recipe on pinterest). I'm thinking I may get some colored plastic wrap for color variety...we don't do food dyes here as they cause grumpiness and migraines for the majority of us so no in-food color. I guess I need to hit up Walmart or something for some lollipop sticks.

So DH NEVER asks for anything for a gift EVER. I mean never. When you ask him what he wants, he literally says "nothing."
This year, however, he actually requested something for Father's Day! He said he wants a "Chocolate Chip Cookie Tree." I have no idea what that would look like in real life and google gives me Christmas trees. How can I arrange chocolate chip cookies in a fun way for him? A bouquet? I just don't know. Give me ideas please!
Thanks!

My first car
You really need to look at these images to get the full appreciation for the hideousness of this car. It was a weird combination of car, van, and station wagon, a 1986 Nissan Stanza. I drove it until it died. It was actually my dad's car before it was mine and he sold it to me for $100...I wonder if I got a good deal at this point as it was already on its last leg when I got it from him. :glare:
