  1. Thanks, SadieMarie! I did check out the website. Was yours Mickey??
  2. I didn't think of TJ Maxx or Ross. I did look through all the rugs on the Pier One website and didn't find anything I liked. Also, they are not the sizes I need. Thanks!
  3. Thank you! I found one I liked, but was unsure of the color. It says "berry red". http://www.ballarddesigns.com/ravinia-rug/rugs/rug/runners/42234 So, I called. The woman said it was more of a burgundy color and definitely not a red red. What do you think? The sale ends tomorrow, so I'd like to make a decision. I need opinions...
  4. I checked and they are out of my current price range. There was one I liked, but I need something less expensive.
  5. Good idea. I just finished going through Home Depot Online's selections. Nothing there either. Or, maybe I'm just not good at picturing them in my house.
  6. I don't think so. If we did, I'm thinking it would probably be out of my budget range.
  7. I was hoping to find something there, but didn't see anything I liked.
  8. Thank you! I was just looking at that site. I found one I think I like, but am a bit worried about ordering from a place I've never heard of. Here's the one I'm considering: http://www.ruglots.com/nourison-somerset-navy-floral-rug-st05.html What do you think? Kohl's online has the same one, but for a whole lot more. And, they don't have the smaller matching rug. I know nothing about rugs and am not good at decorating, so this decision is making me nervous.
  9. I think we might have a Tuesday Morning - at least we did a few years ago. I've never been in it. No Meijers.
  10. I forgot to mention I checked Costco yesterday. It doesn't seem to be the time of year for rugs from them.
  11. We just had our floors put in and I want to buy a carpet runner and a matching small rectangular rug for the entryway. I've looked at Kohl's, JCP, Lowe's, Target, and Walmart. I don't even know where else to look. I haven't liked anything I've seen. I checked JPC online and Overstock.com. Still haven't seen anything I've liked. I'm hoping to find something with burgundy in it and maybe navy blue. Any suggestions? My style is kind of "cottagey".
  12. Yep, I loved Wool and have ordered Shift and Dust. They're supposed to be here this week. Wool is a book that I keep thinking about. You know how sometimes you read a book and once you're done you don't ever think about it again? And, then there's a few books that have an impact on you and you don't forget. Wool is definitely the one that has an impact.
  13. I'm also reading this right now and not enjoying it as much as I'd hoped. It just seems to go on forever without getting anywhere. I loved HP, so this is disappointing. It's definitely not a page-turner for me, but other than that, I'm not sure why I'm not enjoying it. I don't like to give up on books, but if I did, this is one I would have put down for something better.
  14. Yep, that's us, too. I figure I'll have to work until I drop dead.
  15. I LOVED this show! I wouldn't have known about it without this board. I watched the final episode yesterday (before the power went out). I didn't have a clue who the killer was until the end. Every episode was SO emotional that I don't think I was thinking logically or observing enough. I totally loved the acting in this, too.
  16. I've been doing LCHF for about 19 months now. If you're just looking for breakfast ideas, here is what I've been eating every morning for several weeks now: a small handful of macadamias (about 1/4 cup) (about 6:30 am before leaving for work) Then, a few hours later (around 10 am), Bullet Proof Broth. This is basically the bulletproof coffee idea using bone broth. I don't drink coffee, so this works for me. I add Kerrygold butter or coconut oil and cream. You could do this with just co.
  17. I would be dead of complications of pancreatitis and probably a couple of other things, too. But, I am blown away by the number of probable deaths in this thread due to pregnancy and child birth!
  18. She looks so cute with that cut. I'm always surprised at the scenes in OUAT where she has long hair. I think, though, that you have to have a cute face to go with the cut. I don't think I qualify.
  19. I have very thin, fine, wispy hair and am always tempted by the Ovation Hair commercials. But, I don't know if it's all hype. Has anyone tried their stuff?
  20. We just got normal rain and drizzle - no big storm. But, when I was in the shower this morning, I was definitely thinking about thunder storms. :smilielol5:
  21. Hey, Jean, aren't the thunderstorms we're having this year awesome?? And that "tropical rain storm" we had last Thursday? I'm still hoping we get the big rain storm tonight that they've been predicting.
  22. Ahhh, sorry about your lamp! Did you have carpet or wood installed?
  23. Thanks! I never even thought of craigslist even though I look at it almost every day for other stuff. One of the things I really liked about Empire is that they remove all the carpet and dispose of it, and move the furniture for you. Moving all of our stuff has been one of the things that has held us back from doing this. Right now, I really want easy.
