I LOVE the size of our kitchen. We also have pull out shelves in the lower cabinets. I love our upstairs. We have 4 bedrooms all centered around a small loft area. Things I'd change: larger laundry room with a sink and place to put coats/shoes hardwood floors in the entry/kitchen/dining room swap the dining room with the kitchen so the kitchen would overlook the family room larger kids bathroom that included 2 sinks or just a larger cabinet/counter top french doors on our den to close off the mess and keep kids out. The den is right inside the front door.

IF it was an emergency then we would probably stop all investments and giving so maybe 2-3 months.

We also did/are doing Horizons preschool. My daughter loves it. Next year we're doing Sonlight 4/5 for preschool since my daughter loves books.

I wonder if her kids are now living with her father, and attending the school. That would be ironic.

If its something that the library has on the shelf it's usually next day. If it's already checked out it could be 3 weeks or more depending on if someone was waiting ahead of me. If it's coming from another library usually within a week.

My daughter is in Montessori school right now and they have them using tweezers to move something from one bowl to another. You could also try the game Operation.

I'm wondering that too. I think I'm going to start soon. I saw addition and subtraction flashcards in the dollar section of Target the other day.

Sticky Mosaics are good for keeping them busy. It's good for fine motor skills too.

We're in Plainfield.

We just use it for taco's, spaghetti, chili, and casseroles.

My daughter HATED that book. She's known all of her letters and sounds since she was 2 but just did NOT like that book. It's so boring for kids this age (she's almost 4). I just got her some of the little books from Abeka and she's breezing through them.

My 3 year old saw it and loved it. I think there's a part at the end when the "mother" dies and they cut off Rapunzel's hair that DD was a little nervous about, but that's it. Oh and there's a chase scene where some people get trapped (if I"m remembering correctly) that might cause a little problem.
