  1. I understand the anxiety! What helped me the most was to figure out how many credits were needed...I went to the high school websites in my area as well as university sites to see what they recommended. Then I made my plan based on that. Then I started talking to moms who've been there, done that. I don't know when the anxiety stops, though. Man, waking up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat...worrying that your kids will be stupid and it's your fault! Ahhhh...the insanity! So, you're not alone. :-)
  2. Can't get my sig to line up properly....test again
  3. I don't do that, but sometimes I wake myself up either talking or whimpering in my sleep. It's very embarrassing...if I wake up my DH I'll usually pretend I'm still asleep...heh heh...
  4. Glad you found it! For years I told my DH and boys about a Christmas album we had as kids...it had a story and some songs and sound effects. I remembered the songs and how my sisters and I would make up stories using the sound effects. One day a few weeks ago DH and I were in an antique shop and he was looking through old albums. He held one up and asked, "Any chance this is that album you remember?" I said, "Nah...doesn't look familiar. What are the chances?" Then I turned it over and the cover looked very familiar. So we bought it. And it was the one!! So DH recorded it onto a cd and I'm going to mail a copy to my sisters. Very cool! I was so happy to have it!
  5. Sometimes I think it's because I'm getting older. I turned 36 last month. The worst is that I can hardly ever get through a movie because I fall asleep!!! Embarrassing...
  6. I like to make a nice cup of hot tea, read from the Psalms, and sometimes call a friend and chat about it. The number one thing that helps, though, is crying out to God, most often with real tears...in my closet. Or finding a good 70's & 80's radio station and singing at the top of my lungs...
  7. I love to do that too! Especially in the parking lot when the pavement slopes... I embarrass my kids!
  8. I tried to search for it but it nothing came up. Does anyone use SAM-e? Does it help? If so, what brand? How much? What else could help? Thanks!
  9. I would definitely say the the more often you do it, the more often you want to. Make it a point to never turn him down, and gradually you will be the one seeking *him* out. You have to put a mental stop to the "ugh, not now" thoughts. Retrain your brain to think positively...to realize what a lucky woman you are to have a husband who desires her!
